The last line of the pearl means that the pearl was back were it belonged. I feel like the pearl was been evil to Kino and Juana because it wanted to go back to the sea...its true home. When they finally threw it back into the sea the pearl had peace and so did Kino and Juana. The pearl is not with them anymore and they just look in the distance at were the pearl might be right now. The evil and greed has left them and I hope that they might be able to move on after the terrible experiences they had with it.

You didn't really talked about the motif of the music of the pearl. You did talked about the symbol of the pearl, when you were talking about the Pearl is evil, for the example you gave. Your conection with Kino's family and the pearl was really god because you were saying that tje pearl was being evil to them. And I the sentence that i like the most is : "The evil and greed has left them and I hope that they experiences they had it.", because you are wishing something good for them. So, I do think you meet the standard, because, you gave same details about why the Pearl was being mean to them.
